To help make a luxury dream Bathroom that will be the envy of your Friends, Family and neighbours.
An engaging Bathroom can often be the one component that sets your home apart from other bathroom’s that are old and tired or simply not planed and installed by an experienced bathroom designer..
Consider our 5 best tips to make a Bathroom that will add thousands to your home, luxury to your lifestyle and the envy of all the have the privilege to visit your home.
An amazing bathroom may entice you to buy a new house or help you sell your house to others, but where we already have a house a luxury bathroom can really make that house a home.
In spite of the fact that adding an absolutely new bathroom or ensuite to your home or completely renovating your current one can come at a significant cost, it can truly pay off financially and on a personal level to help you love your home even more.
Realising that including another Bathroom can add £5,000 or more to the value of a property can be a motivation in itself.
A warm and welcoming Bathroom, with touches of extravagance, can encourage a connection to a well being that filters out to the rest of a home.
You might think this as a strange thing but we have had many customers who after having there bathroom completely renovated they admit to us that they sit in the bathroom with the door closed just being absorbed by the luxury and happiness it brings to them.
Obviously, you don’t need to tear out your bathroom and begin without any preparation to have an effect. In case you’re working with a lower spending plan, there are still a lot of approaches to make a dream bathroom that increases the value of your home or help make a luxury dream Bathroom that will be the envy of your Friends, Family and neighbours.
So with an idea to increase the value of your house or the luxury of your home with your dream bathroom, here are our 5 tips to consider.
The normal new bathroom cost is about £4,500 for a small bathroom for a standard 3 or 4 bedroom house.
But this can vary wildly depending on the quality and brand of the suite you buy, the materials used such as ceramic or porcelain tiles, the luxury items you might disire from bespoke lighting to featured recesses and Bluetooth ceiling speakers to remote controlled digital showers and bath fillers that can be set and turned on and off with your mobile phone. The list of additional costs can be endless where the high end of a average sized bathroom with top end products can be in the tens of thousands.
Its your fist job as the home owner to think hard about what is needed, what is desired, and what can be afforded as these three things will be the cornerstone of understanding your budget and the finish of your luxury bathroom.
First of all, a luxury bathroom doesn’t have to be over the top expansive but it ought to have a trace of extravagance. What’s more, we’re not discussing rich backdrops and strong gold tiles, it’s about simple, extravagant highlights that sets apart that vision of luxery from a cheap looking or poorly designed bathroom.
On the off chance that you need to make a dream bathroom and increase the value of your house or the luxury of your home, ensure you don’t skimp eye-catching highlights. Think under-floor heating, remote control showers, whirlpool showers, and contemporary towel warmers.
Obviously, you don’t need to incorporate these highlights, only the ones that bode well in your bathroom.
In spite of the fact that greens, blues, and even dark coloured bathrooms were at one time extremely popular, today a great many people lean toward standard white suites and installations. But add to that standard white bathroom suite a touch of chrome edging trims, contemporary towel warmer or remote filling bath and the luxury jumps out to behold you in your new Luxury Bathroom.
In case you’re including another bathroom into your home with the view to enhancing your property, it’s advantageous keeping things generally impartial. Obviously, you can at present stamp your own character on your new bathroom, yet endeavour to keep the suite itself as tame as could reasonably be expected. You can infuse shading and character through minimal feature tiling, lighting, and design to give it that understated bling that real luxury demands and Imagine a Bathroom with features for common sense and quality..
This will guarantee that the features and overall feel of your luxury bathroom will still fell fresh for years to come.
Many people are often surprised to hear that the suite or furniture you choose is not the main expenditure in a Luxury Bathroom renovation.
If you choose a cheaper suite or a less expensive toilet for example, the labour will still be the same. It’s the same job to fit a toilet whether it’s a top end designer pan or a budget WC. The cost of labour will still be the same. The cost is obviously affected if you choose to have a wall-hung toilet though, as they’re more difficult and more labour intensive to fit – which will add to your costs.
Our advice is to choose a suite that suits your needs and if budget is an issue then consider just replacing the existing function and layout to save on labour.
when you Think smart to reduce costs to increase extravagance, with money saved on the suite or tiles other options become available such as gloss white pvc ceilings, bespoke lighting, underfloor heating, feature recesses, etc.
Managing your Luxury Bathroom project professionally can be the difference between getting what you dreamed of and falling short on standards and functionality. When you have parted with a substantial amount of money you expect the best. Using cheap or poor contractors can be like flushing your hard earned money down the plughole. Think smart and use a budget that ensures you get a lot more out of the added luxury a well designed and well installed bathroom can give.
Knowing that using one point of contact to project manage the whole process, you will be impressed from discussing the features that inspire, to designing the bathroom to meet requirement to installing the bathroom including ceiling, lighting, tiling, plumbing and other bespoke features that can turn a simple bathroom into a luxury bathroom that can be desired by all….
We hope these 5 top tips for a Luxury Bathroom in Liverpool have inspired you to dream of a new bathroom to enhance your home.

Proper lighting is essential for any home. It is important to maintain balance between personality and the functionality of the room when it comes to lighting the living room. One can transform the entire atmosphere of their living room within the proper use of lighting. One should remember that lighting not only has aesthetic and mood enhancing values, but play an important functional role in illuminating important task areas in the living room.
Houses in Liverpool and surrounding areas are getting to be more airtight and draft free to increase the energy efficiency of our homes. As we reduce the drafts and make them more air tight we are also trapping air that carries moisture from cooking, cleaning and even breathing. This moisture rich air condenses on cold walls with a buildup of mold as issues begin to emerge that can cause health problems and home.
Black mold occurs where condensation forms and damages soft furnishings such as cloths, matrices, carpets, wall papers. Black mold has been linked to health issues such as headaches, breathing troubles and in addition queasiness and exhaustion and as a possible trigger for respiratory issues, for example, Asthma in some people. In conclusion if your property has black mold then to stop further damage and reduce health risks then you need to cure condensation stop black mold.
Black Mold issues are more typical than you think with around 1 in 5 British homes experiencing issues with black mold. It’s unsightly, linked to health problems and unwelcome so that no property holder needs to yell about.
Black Mold builds up over time. Nonstop buildup issues are generally joined by black mold, an unattractive organism which backs its appalling head around window outlines, on dividers, entryways, roofs, furniture and it can even show up on your garments hanging inside a closet or wardrobe. A home experiencing poor ventilation will be helpless against both condensation and mold issues. So you need to cure condensation.
Black Mold typically demolishes whatever it becomes on as it progressively processes it. It discharges small spores that can go through the air; these spores regularly have mycotoxins and allergens attached to them. It is the mycotoxins and allergens that can influence our well being and cause health issues.
Moisture in air gathering on frosty windows, walls and ceilings can result in paint to bubble and peel, stains, black mold, plaster becoming loose, crumbling, timber to decay causing wet rot that could lead to serious structural damage.
Living in a home where you don’t cure condensation, babies may create respiratory manifestations as an aftereffect to a particular kind of contagious mold, called Penicillium. Signs that a newborn child may have mold-related respiratory issues incorporate (yet are not restricted to) a constant hack and/or wheeze. Mold exposures have an assortment of health issues upon the individual. Some individuals are more delicate to mold than others. Exposure to mold can result in various wellbeing issues, for example, throat irritation, nasal stuffiness, eye aggravation, hack and wheezing, and in addition skin issues.
When we don’t cure condensation the additional moisture and dampness empowers the development of different parasites in wood, bringing about decay or may in the end lead to widespread decorative and structural damage.
How to Cure Condensation
Condensation occurs when air that contains moisture cools. As cooler air has less ability to hold as much moisture as warmer air, condensation occurs. This condensation can be seen to occur on cooler surfaces such as windows, cold corners of rooms, under windows, etc.
So the best way to cure condensation is to reduce the amount of moisture that is generated in the home. This can be done by installing extractor fans where moisture is produced such as bathrooms and kitchens. Also ensure tumble dryers are vented to outside. You may also consider installing heat recovery extract ventilation to reduce heat loss and its cold and wet in Liverpool most of the year.
Another way is to ensure that there are less cool spots in your home. Insulating walls and roof spaces, installing double glazing. Keeping low level heating present for longer periods to ensure the inner building fabric as well as furniture and fittings is kept warm so attracting less condensation.
Opening windows will increase ventilation but it also increases heat loss letting warm air escape and cooling the room. It is much better to install sufficient ventilation preferably with a vapour permeable membrane. As a rule of thumb a 100mm diameter air vent to outside with a vapour permeable membrane in each room and an electric extraction fan to the bathrooms/shower rooms and kitchen is usually sufficient to cure condensation. Each property has different characteristics and will all need slightly different solutions to cure condensation.

As with most things that need to be maintained regularly, it’s to make sure that it is working effectively, safely and economically. Especially with gas boilers this is why you should service your gas boiler in Liverpool every year and use a certified and knowledgeable engineer.
Firstly ensure that the Engineer is registered with Gas Safe. When a service is performed by a qualified ‘Gas Safe’ registered engineer, the service should last about an hour and include gaining access to the boilers combustion chamber, gas burner, exhaust fan etc during cleaning and testing of the gas boiler to ensure that it is installed correctly, safe to use and working correctly and efficiently. this is achieved as the Engineer will carry out a number of assessments on the boiler during a service.
Frequent annual servicing and safety checks to your boiler is essential as it ensures that the boiler is working to the requirements designed by the boiler manufacturer. This will help extend the life of the boiler as well as prevent mistakes and expensive maintenance in the future.
The efficiency of central heating boilers declines with use. There are several reasons for this, the key ones being:
Soot/carbon deposits from combustion process building up within the boiler.
The crucial air-to-gas ratio changes due to constant element wear effecting combustion and efficiency.
A Boiler services will remove any sooting, dust and debris and, by testing and adjustment, will re-establish the the best possible operating settings. But while optimising working efficiency is vital in these days of increasing energy expenses, there are other essential benefits in having your boiler serviced:
By verifying the safety checks and faults can be found and can be recognized and fixed early enough.
A variety of functional systems and elements will be examined including:
– Gas and water leaks
– Boiler combustion performance (using flue gas analyser)
– Sounds that indicate incorrect operation.
– Incorrect heat-up/ circulation
Just like vehicles, central heating boilers can function for many decades with servicing but generally have reduced efficiency as they age and become to look inefficient against modern technology.
Carbon Monoxide (also known as CO) is a colourless, odourless toxic gas and is a typical yet avoidable cause of loss of life.
When we burn gas and air correctly we get Carbondioxie and water vapour. When it burns incorrectly we get carbon monoxide and carbon. The carbon is the black deposits people mistake as soot and the carbon monoxide is the poisonous, odourless gas.
When CO is absorbed into the body it prevents the blood from taking in fresh air. If a person is found to have CO over a period, it can cause sickness and even loss of life. As well as Monoxide has no fragrance, flavor or color. This is why it is sometimes called the “Silent Killer”.
Carbon monoxide alarms are invaluable in warning people of a build up of this poisonous gas but these are no substitute for professional servicing and upkeep of , boiler, equipment, ventilation and flues.
How much more efficient a boiler will be after servicing will depend on the boiler, when the last time it was serviced and the system it is connected to.
If the Boiler has not been serviced for several year you may get 5% or more efficiency increase.
If the boiler Is a condensing boiler efficiency could be improved up to 91%.
Where the system that the boiler is connected to is inefficient and poorly set up then this can greatly effect the boiler performance. Where the return water from the system is above 54c a condensing boiler can’t run efficiently. Where the return water from the heating system is below 54c this aids the condensation of combustion gasses and extracts upto 10% more energy from the combustion process.
So cleaning the boiler and checking the flow temperatures to and from the heating system and adjusting the flow rate and return temperature can save £££’s.
Most Boiler producers suggest an yearly support, mainly on the reasons of safety and reliability. On efficiency reasons it is well worth servicing gas boilers yearly because of the intake of dust and debris and flying insects from outside and the build-up of deposits from the combustion process.
As with all heating equipment, your boiler should be maintained regularly to make sure that it is working effectively and safely.
Checking for the production of Carbon monoxide saves lives.
The service should be performed by a gas safe registered Engineer.
Servicing can greatly increase energy performance.
Servicing extends the life of the boiler.
